Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)  ***Ends April 2024***

The FCC has announced that April 2024 will be the last fully funded month for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) .  If you are a current participant in the ACP, it is crucial for you to be aware of following:

  • After the ACP funds run out (April 2024), you will no longer receive the ACP discount of $30.00.
  • The last monthly bill to include ACP benefit will be your April invoice.
  • Loss of credit will increase broadband internet service by $30.00 starting with your May invoice.
  • Please note, your service will remain at the existing service level at the full undiscounted price when the ACP credit is no longer available. If you do not wish to receive internet service after the end of ACP or would like to change your service plan, please contact our Customer Service Department at to discuss your options.

Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) Wind-Down FAQs

  • The last monthly bill that will include the ACP credit will be the April 2024 invoice.
  • Starting with the May invoice, ACP households will be subjected to to fully undiscounted rates and general terms and conditions.
  • ACP households will remain at the existing service level at the full undiscounted price when the ACP credit is no longer available. ACP households who do not wish to receive internet service after the end of ACP or would like to change their service plan will need to contact our Customer Service Department at 800-496-3391 to discuss options.
  • Consistently check their emails for more information and for further updates regarding the ACP benefit. Also visit www.affordableconnectivity.gov and www.fcc.gov/acp.
  • Contact their internet company for questions about how the end of the ACP will affect their monthly bill and to ask about available options.
  • Visit www.fcc.gov/acp to access answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) and other guidance about the ACP wind-down process, including what households need to know about retaining internet service after the end of the ACP.
  • Contact USAC directly for any other questions about the ACP wind-down. Households can call the ACP Support Center at 877-384-2575 for information about their benefit.
  • February 7, 2024: This is the last day that the ACP will accept new applications and enrollments. Eligible households must be approved and enrolled with an internet company by 11:59 p.m. ET on February 7th to receive the ACP benefit. Starting February 8, 2024, there will be no more enrollments into the ACP.
  • Starting late January 2024: Households that are currently receiving a monthly ACP benefit will start to receive notices from their internet providers with information about the end of the ACP benefit. This information will include timing of the end of the program and the impact of the loss of the benefit on the household’s bill and service.
  • April 2024: The last fully funded month for ACP.

The loss of this credit will increase your broadband internet service bill by $30.00 starting with your May bill.   Your last monthly bill that will include the ACP benefit will be on you April invoice.  Your service tier will remain the same. In order to offset the increase in your bill, you may adjust your internet service to a lower cost plan.  You may also check your eligibility for other federal low-income plans or opt out of the service at the end of the ACP funding.

We have several internet packages/tiers/bundles available. In addition, if you do not already participate in the Lifeline Program, we encourage you to apply. The Lifeline Program is another federal program that makes phone and internet service more affordable. If you qualify for Lifeline, you can get a monthly benefit of up to $15.70 (state and federal benefit combined) off the cost of phone, internet, or bundled services. Lifeline

Lifeline is a federal program that lowers the monthly cost of phone and internet. Eligible customers will get up to $15.70 toward their bill. You can only use Lifeline for either phone or internet, but not both. Only one Lifeline Program discount is available per household on either a wireless or wireline qualifying service. Under the Lifeline Program, a household is defined as any individual or group of individuals who live together at the same address and share income and expenses. The Lifeline Program benefit is non-transferable.

Eligibility and Application

To receive the Lifeline Program discount, residential customers must establish the eligibility of their household.

  • Apply online to the Lifeline Program on getinternet.gov.
  • Or, apply on a uniform paper application directly regardless of which provider you get phone or internet service from.
